Antique Postcard: Seaside Sunset Over the Water

Isn't this charming? We found it at one of the area's best flea markets. I love all the sea creatures along with the pretty colors. It may not be as refined a collectible as others we could mention, but it has its own serene beauty. Note the seahorse tucked behind the shell shaped framework of the central focal points. Even the lobster looks perfectly satisfied in his position.
That's what we could all use once in a while, a lovely trip out over placid waters with friends.
We are hesitating to also publish its reverse side, owing to a little clean up difficulty. Not only is it a tough clean, but there is no stamp, much less postal marking, making it really less viable for posting. We find its front or illustrated side so pleasing, the back hardly mattered. Hope you'll see it our way. ;)
Happy Creativity, everyone!

I've been playing with this one , just love it.
Boats always remind me of my grampa. We lived on Lake Huron,he had a row boat. When his heart got bad mom and gramma didn'want him to fish anymore.sad fellow he was so i used my little savings ( I was 13) and bought him a motor for his little boat. mom and gran were not happy, they wanted him on shore.
He fished for several more years before he died. So boats always remind me of grampa.
Thanks for the memories. Hugs, Amy

Amy: You have a generous heart, and obviously always had. I love your story about your dear grampa. Some grampas make the best fishing partners, don't they? ;)
I love the water, and we have too little fresh nature-made water to play in and on in our territory. It must be heaven having the lakes so near.
BTW, this postcard is a personal fave. Just love the design. Haven't thought yet of how to play with it.......
