New Paper Doll Visiting Outfit 2 Ways

Do you recognize something about Victoria's new visiting dress?

Victoria's cousin, Mercy has a maternity smock with the very same sleeves and neckline. Most young Victorian women and girls knew how to sew for their family members, as well as for their homes and for themselves. The two cousins are no different.

Please follow the red letter Guidelines for both versions of this outfit at the foot of this post. Thank you.

Mercy had to adapt their shared pattern in order to make herself a smock with some pretty details. She paired it with a maternity skirt of a matching color way. You may see that outfit by following this link HERE

Victoria's version of the same dress is, of course, not for an expectant mother, but rather for herself. I'm offering this two ways, the first with a frilly short cape tucked under one arm, and the other without the little cape. I've added a purse for the very first time. Previously, she's carried a parasol or perhaps a gift or a Gladstone bag (a kind of large handbag made for traveling). Both outfit downloads include a hat for every hair color.

Fairly soon, I hope to be able to offer a few items about Mercy and Tom's new baby, as well as some new adventures for Victoria and her family.

Happy Playtime Creativity!

A Manly New Dressing Gown for Tom

It's Tom's turn for a new and more grownup look!

But before his "makeover'" or update, he must also have more clothing too!

Please respect my copyrights by following the red letter guidelines at the foot of this post. Thank you.

The original look for Tom was youthful and fun, but that now he is a father, it is time for him to have a more mature look. His new slender mustache really does fit his handsome face.

Tom's standard along with his informal travel suit may be found HERE.

As soon as I'm able to, I intend offering a new outfit for his lovely wife, Mercy and their newest addition to my Paper Doll family. For now, though, at least Tom will be allowed to relax in his off time reading a nice magazine in his comfortable slippers and fashionable paisley print dressing gown.

Happy Playtime Creativity!
(and please excuse how weird my blog looks right now. I hope to be able to fix it very soon)

Technical Problems

Dear Guests of PPS:
Please excuse the look of this place. I am trying to resolve the issue, but have had no luck so far. I've sought advice from Blogger Help but with no concrete results.
This is the way my blog once looked.
I left it that way for a reason. I am uncertain as to why this has changed without my having done anything to it.

What's curious is that my experimental private blog that has the very same background still looks perfectly normal, and just as it did when I initially uploaded my custom made background design there.
As soon as the problem can be fixed, I'll remove this notification and resume my normal habit of blogging.
Thanks for your patience.
~Rose

P.S. If anybody has any suggestions as to why this is a problem or how to fix it, please let me know with a comment.
Thank you
