I am enjoying your blog. In your narrative on the "Paper Church Family Fun Projects", a "Scale-Rule B" is mentioned. I don't know what this refers to. Can you help me out? I'm anxious to start on this project.

Sorry I missed your comment last month. It was a busy time. As to the "Scale Rule B" question, Since every time it is mentioned, it's the same, My guess would be that if you choose to enlarge the project, every portion of it would have to be enlarged identically. There is no Scale Rule B in the book this comes from. It's a book in my own personal library, but there were a number of such volumes published in the early 1900's I have an incomplete collection. I have only 3 such volumes. But this project has been the MOST popular of all of the things that I'm offering here, so my guess is that as long as everything gets enlarged the same way, it should turn out.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Rose. That make it more understandable.

I'm wondering what book series this came from? There is a great bookstore in my town that specializes in old out of print books, I'd like to see if they have any of them. You said you have an incomplete collection, how many books are in the collection?

Thank you for your time,
Alison

Hello Allison
Maybe you missed this part in my earlier comment, how I only have 3 volumes in my own private collection?
Thanks for mentioning the idea of checking into out of print books, but I've been downsizing and simplifying my life, as I'm facing a number of health challenges.
Thanks also for stopping by.

I read that. I'm wanting to know the title &/author of the volumes you have or of the ones you don't have. Apologies for the misunderstanding.
Thanks,
Alison

Alison my eye health is the problem. I cannot tell you which volumes are missing. I only have 3 of them, all from about 1908. Title is The Book of Knowledge. My eyes are too painful to try and find the publisher for you. Plus, there's no one single author. Hope that helps. Good luck.
