Pretty Spring Tags

Matching Tags for my new Spring Garden Collection

Please see the red letter Guidelines at the foot of this post. Thank you.

The butterfly tag at center is not  a matching part of any sets to this time, but I liked its old freckled face and charming handwriting. Someone once took the time to pen those words for someone special. The phrase reads: "A token of love from me to thee." This would be fun in a birthday card design, perhaps, or all on its own.

All 3 tags are meant to be played with using whatever will strike a downloader's fancy. I'd like to suggest using white card stock when printing this new tag set, but regular printer paper might do very nicely, too.

My 2 last posts here have mix and match styles and color ways that could go with the tag set. The first of those 2 has a lovely green background download, while today's more recent one has a lilac colored one.

As an added little bonus, I've also included 3 cute little colorful wheelbarrows for you to play with.

Happy Creativity!

Frosty Blue Collage Pages

Frosty Morning Blues!

I awoke feeling chilly yesterday morning and again today. After the adventures with the color Pink, I felt like taking my color wheel for a spin, and when it landed on a lovely deep sky blue, I was ready to sing those blues!

Please see all red letter Guidelines and credits for every post, including this one. Thank you so much.

Today's first item is the original Background. I really liked the way that it looked, and so I went a step further by making a diamond pattern using it plus a richer tone.

Next, I simply had to add a page of tags. These come as a threesome, so in keeping with the musical theme, they are now a Trio!
:)

The Extras come next, followed by frames with some snow motifs.
Brrrr! I'm chilly already, just looking at all of the cool, icy blues!

Happy Wintertime Creativity!

In the Pink with PPS

One Background plus Matching Accessories

Everything from collage to gift card making and Artist Trading Cards may be made using this new 5 item set. This started with Photoshop and my own design ideas. You see, I was in the mood to be "in the pink"!

Please read all credits and red letter Guidelines in this post. Thank you.

First up below is the Collage Background. This has 1/4 inch borders, by the way. I normally tend to use 1/2 inch borders instead, but I wanted you to be able to play with as much color as possible this time. White card stock might be a wise paper choice. This works with most home printers.

Next, there is a page of nothing but Tags cut from the same background. These 3 tags might be printed onto card stock, or else glued onto the card of your choice.

Then there is a set of cute pockets, all in the same pattern. these have a few accessories in with them. I thought these would be fun for card making and journaling, although your ideas might say otherwise. There are 2 more smaller tags in with the pockets, too.

Next in line is the ATC card and matching envelope set with a few collage bits to use. The envelope design is by my favorite free template resource, Mirkwood Designs. The templates there may be had for free, although never, ever sold out of fairness to the person who is allowing us to use them + her instructions for free. Thank you again, Ruth Zarnoff! A link to her website full of wonderful things is HERE

The final item is yet another Ruth Zarnoff Design from the same website mentioned in that last paragraph. It is a cute little Bonbon gift box. This would be best printed onto white card stock as well. The margins for this item are 1/4 inch as well, so be sure to check your computer settings first.

A final note:
All digital art brushes used in the making of this pink patterned set are by www.obsidiandawn.com except for one  that may no longer be found at the source (brusheezy.com).

Happy Pink Crafting!

Free Backgrounds in Retro Colors

Retro Color Backgrounds to match our Tag Set

It's all about having enough time to put things together, isn't it?
Most busy moms just simply don't have enough time for starting from "scratch" in every creative "recipe," whether they're making a new scrapbook page or cooking supper for the family.

This entire series has been inspired in the first place by a scrapbook artist named Devon Lee. If you go to the previous tag post here, you can find a link in her name. She actually is one creative woman. I appreciate her inspired color choices. So here is a set of 12 x 12 inch sheets, for Digi or for print, along with some regular 8.5 x 11 inch sheets that match. The latter may be either printed or used digitally. If you're a Digi artist like I am, then you'll know what is possible using Photoshop.
:)

For the matching Retro Tag set, you can go HERE.

So here it is, and we can all thank www.obsidiandawn.com for the digital brushes which made it possible for me to make this design look the way that it does. I'll leave the rest to our creative guests!

Happy Retro Creativity!

Free Tag Set in Retro Colors

Retro 1980's Tag Set

This was easy, as I myself had already begun the process of creating some new tags. I had already made the template from old ephemera, then simply added color using Photoshop. This was fun!
:)

This particular free set was actually inspired by a new scrapping buddy, Devon Lee.

I liked the colors she was showing at her G+ post, and simply finished the tag set I'd already begun using her color way.

Thanks, Devon, for the fun and the colorful inspiration!

Here's that set for you. You are under no obligation whatsoever to ever use anything produced here at PPS. I won't take offense if you can't use anything you see here. For the rest of the public, this is totally Free, and without any copyrights attached. In other words, it will now be in the Public Domain.

Let's keep free things free with our
Happy Creativity!
