Here we have another example from our amusement park photo set. And isn't it a dandy? I just love the way that old tower light's powerful beam cuts across a starry night sky! And the electric light display on the ground floor of the building it was connected to really shines in this picture.
I could see this scene used for a background in a collage or ATC, so we've given our readers their choice of the two. And I think it might even be a touch Steampunky, too.
Hope you're enjoying all this summer has to offer you! We sure are here at the Studio.
Happy Creativity!

What a wonderful image, Rose. I love amusement parks and many years ago when my sister and I were children, we went through Denver and stopped at Lakeside. I thought it was the most magical place I'd ever seen.
Hi Mina: Glad you stopped by. I guess my recall would have the older Elitch Gardens be so special it might have been as delightful as you recall. By the time I went to Lakeside, the neighborhood was not what it had been in that it got run down and even boarded up in places.
The corporate world catches up to such places and remakes them in its image. Now there's a different Elitch's but no real shade or lovely view, just rides, booths, games, and what not.
It's too bad.
