"Love Notes" Embellishments

The fortunate thing about having a lot of extra ready-to-use stock items in my files is that it can be much easier to make a few things than it might otherwise be.

My eyes need extensive rest at times since my optic nerve health to one eye became problematic this past Labor Day weekend. This will be my first truly New post (nothing like the most recent post that was found almost ready to upload) since summer 2017. I'm proud of it, even if it cost me in eye strength for the day. I've promised myself to refrain from taking further chances. Building things more gradually from now on might be one way to keep on creating - but gently.

All components are from older projects of times past, all of which have previously been seen either here or elsewhere online. What I did was to combine them for this new project. I think that everything fits together pretty well. Red + black + white is a color trio that's often used for Valentines Day creating.

The sheet music is from my own collection, scanned by me and then altered. The typewriter was in the Public Domain when I found it some while back. As for the phrases chosen, two of those are outtakes from the writings of William Shakespeare, while the third one is obviously universal.

Wonderful site. I'm not sure if you're interested in the background of your "Young Girl Gleaning" image. It was drawn by Theodor Kittelsen. Mr. Kittelsen (1857-19140) is a famous Norweigan artist. https://sindrelf.com/2017/11/22/the-art-of-theodor-kittelsen/ He often reworked images in different media. The line drawing you've featured was redone as a painting, an illustration for "Norwegian Folktales: The twelve wild ducks" https://norwegianfolktales.blogspot.com/2018/04/the-twelve-wild-ducks.html ( I take a lively interest in all things Kittelsen because my godchildren are his great grand-daughters.)

Good Morning, Uncoupdomain
I am glad you like my little freebie spot here. It was a labor of love for as long as I could manage to add more posts. Too many serious health issues have stopped any further development.

Thank you for sharing your story and links with me. It pleases me that you've contacted me, but it is also concerning for me as well, as you may imagine.

While I cannot recall my source for that picture, I do know that it had to have been listed at a reputable source as being without any copyrights, otherwise I would not have chosen to offer it here. One can only be as careful as one is allowed to be with the resources available.

Until I am able to sort things out and find the appropriate answer as to its status in the world of Copyright Law, I intend to take it down. I may need to simply change a few things within that same post. That remains to be seen.

In any case, thanks again for the lovely story + links. I hope we can continue our discussion here at some point.
Sincerely,
RH McGuinn

Hello again, @Uncoupdomain
I hope this finds you well. Thank you for the email address. I will consider what you have suggested. For the present, that post remains off site. It's possible it may be re-edited in future to exclude his picture.
Thank you again. Your alert has been taken seriously.
Very cordially yours,
Rose H. McGuinn
