Art is a Manly Sport

Can It Be "Manly" to Make Art?

We here at PPS do see it as an adventure in which anyone may share. To enjoy the creative process is a human quality, shared by few animals, to be sure.

So is it a manly pursuit, to make art?

Of course it is!

We offer our first "manly" blog candy ever in hopes of increasing more interest in creative blogging and art-making in the men among us.
So move over, ladies, and let's make some room for our friends, the gents!
Happy Creativity!

And here is the blog button size--FREE for use, and never for sale by anyone. This not for sale part is, of course, in order to keep things both legally upright and free. We appreciate how some of our guests do credit us or even send other people here via links. We like to do that for others, too!

You can add it as a gadget. Be sure and check the box which makes Blogger "shrink to fit,"otherwise it might be a bit too big. Of course, this will be determined by the size of your margin.

Introducing my brand new G+ look!

Let's make friends there and here, shall we?
Hope you like it. It still requires a few changes, but that can come later, when there's more time.
Do you G+ too?
If so, you may find my Profile at G+ HERE.
I won't be able to be around much there, but intend checking in as time permits. Being a "Possum" for the Studio has its perqs and pluses, but I need down time, too.
I will see you 'round the Blogosphere!
;)
Happy Creativity!

Our New Look!
We are currently hard at work on making a few changes to the design around here, and do hope that you will be patient as we try different things out.
Our line-up won't change, and neither should our product line or links.
Please be patient while we study and experiment!
We are sure to get back to our regular style of posts soon.
:)
Happy Creativity!

Travels Abroad with Twitter!

CORRECTION: We will need to re-vamp this design and post it in a corrected and usable form, for Twitter's new ideal is to have everybody's main page look very much the same. As we hadn't been blogging, much less Tweeting, for years and therefore had not heard of this before, I want to apologize on behalf of the Studio for any confusion that may have been caused.
We will test via trial and error means, any and all options with Twitter prior to posting any further items in this category.

For those of you who are about to travel this summer, we thought it might be fun for you if you would be able to Tweet in a themed way about your travels.

In our first Twitter series for quite some time, we've chosen to use that as our theme. Our first destination today will be Ireland, offered here for your use while Tweeting. (Note: None of our work may be sold anywhere for any reason without our express written permission. Just thought it might need saying again.)

Most, if not all, of our work has parts to it that have been offered for free use to anybody, although not for sale. This offering is no different. Credits will be listed with links below.

Choosing just the right background color to surround one's Twitter page can be a tricky problem. Not to worry. We've already figured all of that out for you.

This Twitter background was based in the following RGB color: #196c1B
Anything lighter might look funny.

Please follow the link below, then choose the Download arrow icon.

Enjoy your Tweets and travels with your
Happy Creativity!

Hi! We're back! With Steampunk Shoes or Spats!

Hello again to all of our friends online from us Possums here in our studio!
For our first offering in about 3 years or so, we have found something simple to start up with. After all, it took many long hours of practice to begin with to become as proficient as we ended up being towards the end of our first chapter. For our New Chapter here at Plush Possum Studio, we are going to be offering fewer new images right at first.
Health issues and computer problems have kept us away for too long!
We missed our fun here!
It's so fun to blog with you all, and to keep getting to know you is such a delight.

The pattern we are offering today looks as if it might well be adapted for spats for the Steampunk crowd. We here at Plush Possum love Steampunk!  We see the shoe pattern as a bit unique, in that it's for the high button look favored by so many for period and Steampunk costumes. We hope you'll enjoy it too with your
Happy Creativity!
