May's Blissfull Swap

It's a beautiful Wednesday, and all the birds are singing their late afternoon songs. I am seated at my desk here in the Studio's "Command Central" with a big, shiny old grin on my face.
Why?
Well you might ask!
I get to post Sandy W's lovely ATC artwork!!
And what a stunner this one turned out to be!!!!!
Last month's theme was "Let's Go to the Movies," a great theme--leave it to the team over at Blissfull ATC Swaps to keep coming up with a great new theme every month! Sandy's trade for my card is her highly detailed and certainly humorous play on the Batman movies.
Here we have Jack Nicholson as the Joker. I half expected him to start talking and then laughing insanely. How she got everything to line up that beautifully when each element is one small detail of the greater whole is something I really couldn't quite fathom. It just goes to show you what a little time with inspiring creativity can deliver: pure art.
Love this one, Sandy!
Hope we get to trade again sometime soon!
And Thanks Again!
Rose

I just love this!
Wish I could reveal the reverse as well.
It's got her personal info on a tiny piece of vellum paper stuck to it.
A stunner. Both sides.
Wow.

Now that is just too much fun! I love Batman. Yes, it is one of my guilty pleasures. ;-) I love your header. How whimsical!

Mina: Thank You so much for choosing your wording with such kindness! Our tone was supposed to be of whimsy, or of good humored laughter at oneself. It never pays to get too serious about the art-making process. Naturally, it's helpful to think in terms of trying for something better, but we know where that could lead if left unchecked!--the dirty word for all of us is (as in, too much) perfectionism!
We identify Sandy's work with being a real treasure trove of ingenuity mixed with style and flair. She really had it going for her on this one!
;)
